Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Augusta County, Virginia. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
