Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
