Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Cumbria, England. On a typical shift you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
