Immediate opening: concrete labourer (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Chippewa County, Minnesota. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. You will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
