We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Henderson County, Kentucky. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
