Incoming goods inspector — Mississippi County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Mississippi County, Missouri. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Six days a week, one day off.
