Civil works labourer — West Berkshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a civil works labourer in West Berkshire, England. The job is with a civil contractor. Day to day you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times We offer £2,000 per month plus benefits.
