Port container crane operator — Livingston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Livingston County, Illinois. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off.
