Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
