Vacancy available: gas meter installer (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Berrien County, Michigan. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
