Argon arc welder • Salem County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Salem County, New Jersey. The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
