Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Madison County, Illinois. You will work in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates.
