Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in City of Norton, Virginia. You will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
