Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Cherokee County, Georgia. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
