Immediate opening: we are hiring a RCC mason in Lee County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
