Health and safety supervisor wanted in Keokuk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Keokuk County, Iowa. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
