Immediate opening: CO2 welder (Arizona)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in La Paz County, Arizona. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $9,750 per project, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
