Earthmoving plant operator — City of Staunton

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in City of Staunton, Virginia. Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Your main tasks: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
