Great opportunity: we are hiring a stone mason in Coles County, Illinois. You will be based on a hotel and villa renovation project. The role involves level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
