Retail butcher wanted in Ovia North-East

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Ovia North-East, Edo. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
