Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Washington County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
