The role involves measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Willing to travel between sites • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
