Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Otsego County, New York. The job is at a halal meat counter. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
