Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Thurston County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 6+ years on the tools preferred.
