Urgent requirement: scaffolder (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolder in Monroe County, New York. The job is at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips Requirements: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
