Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Nevada County, California. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area.
