We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
