Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Franklin County, Ohio. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. You will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
