Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Mitchell County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
