Refrigeration and AC mechanic • Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. Day to day you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; service split AC units and VRF systems; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders 4+ years on the tools preferred. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
