Metal caster wanted in Iron County

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Iron County, Wisconsin. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 5+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
