Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The job is at a dry cleaner's. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Rotating shifts.
