Press shop operator — Richland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Richland County, South Carolina. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day to day you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
