Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Decatur County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy building site. On the job you will handle: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Full-time with occasional weekends.
