Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lee County, Florida. The role involves place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
