Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Newton County, Texas. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches You will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply.
