Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Amelia County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites The role involves: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
