Restoration bricklayer • Cherokee County, Iowa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Cherokee County, Iowa. The job is on a busy housing site. Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
