Urgent requirement: fabrication workshop technician (Florida)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Saint Lucie County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
