Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers.
