Argon welding operator • Anambra East, Anambra State

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Anambra East, Anambra State. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Meals and transport allowance provided.
