We are recruiting: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Newport, Wales. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles On a typical shift you will fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around £1,850 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
