Site safety steward • Calhoun County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Calhoun County, Illinois. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
