Heavy goods vehicle driver • Monroe County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Monroe County, Illinois. The job is at a container freight yard. On a typical shift you will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
