Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code We offer $190 per day plus benefits.
