Bricklayer wanted in Vernon Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
