Container truck driver • Hamilton County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Hamilton County, New York. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence 4+ years on the tools preferred.
