Tig welder wanted in Carroll County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Carroll County, Maryland. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Your main tasks: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
