Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Full-time, day shift. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
