Banksman — Grundy County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Grundy County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
